Morris E. Lake, 84, of North Syracuse, passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Orwell, NY on April 23, 1928 to the late Orin M. Lake and Cora Burns Lake. He was a 1946 graduate of Mexico High School. Upon graduation he enlisted in the Air Force, serving from 1946-1949 in Okinawa. Upon leaving the service Mr. Lake was employed at the Oswego Unemployment Office and later at Carrier Corp from 1952-1988.
Surviving are his wife, Beatrice Hughes Lake, 2 daughters, Sharon G. Lake, North Syracuse and Diane Lake, Atlanta, GA. He was predeceased by his sister, Doris Hessler and his brother, Harold Lake.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be on Tuesday 1pm at the funeral home.
