Nancy A. Walters, 69, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday. She was born on October 23, 1944 daughter of the late John and Ann Kelley. She was a Syracuse native and attended Oswego State. Nancy understood and spoke Polish, she was a wonderful wife and mother. Nancy was a phenomenal cook and was a great holiday planner. She always tried to help and put herself second to everyone else's needs. Nancy was an avid sports fan- from the Yankees (watching many World Series games with her husband, George) to SU Basketball to never missing her sons baseball games growing up and in college. Nancy was a very kind lady and very strong person. A true fighter through the MS.
Surviving are her husband, George of 47 years and her son, Craig Walters.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, N., Syracuse, with services to follow.
