Owen "Butch" Flansburg

Owen “Butch” Flansburg, 67 of Liverpool, NY, passed away on April 15, 2026 at his home. He was born in Cortland, NY on March 1, 1959 to the late Eric and Bernice Flansburg.

 He loved cooking, watching the New York Giants, Syracuse sports, camping, going on family trips and just being around friends, family and spending most days with his grandchildren, who he adored. Butch was best known for being a “jokester” and the “life of the party” with his “I’m too sexy” dance.

 He is survived by daughter, Jennifer Armstrong; four grandchildren, Chloe, Jayden, Elijah and Mikaela; siblings, Eric (Sherry) Flansburg, Larry Flansburg, Cheri (Rich) New and Rose Flansburg; former wife, Christine Flansburg; several nieces, nephews, cousins, “adopted children” and close friends.

 Predeceased by his son, David Flansburg and brother, Robert “Bobby” Flansburg.

 Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Monday, April 27, 2026 from 4-7pm.
