Patricia Donohue

Patricia M. Donohue, 79, of Syracuse, New York, passed away March 5, 2026. She was born on September 2, 1946. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert J. Donohue and mother, Mary E (Bisco) Donohue and son John Sakowski, Jr.

Patricia grew up in North Syracuse, she loved all things Irish, Celtic or Gaelic. She loved doing genealogy research for the family. She loved going to the Celtic games and festivals, she was also very artistic when it came to color blending. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey Sakowski, daughters, Tammy Hewson and Denise Sakowski; sister Susan D. Brunell; five grandchildren, Megan Lasky, Alexander Krest, Aaron Hewson, Jarod Hewson and Ian Krest; 3 great grandchildren, Liam Williams, Christopher Williams and Isabella Ibrihim and her best friend of over 50 years, Sarah ( Sally) DeMoore Dallas

Visitation will be held Friday, March 13, 2026 from 11am to 12 pm at New Comer Cremations &Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. A Funeral services will follow at 12pm. Burial will follow in N. Syracuse Cemetery.
