Patricia A. Guiles, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away at her home on August 17, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on October 2, 1950, in Syracuse, NY, Patricia was a warm and gentle soul, known for her sweet demeanor and her ability to nurture those around her, embracing everyone as family.
A proud resident of Clay, Patricia pursued her education with determination, earning her Bachelor's degree from Cazenovia College and an Associate's degree from Columbia College, while working full-time and raising a family. She dedicated her professional life to Carrier Corp. for about 13 years, followed by a significant tenure in Human Resources at St. Joseph's Imaging Associates until her retirement. Throughout her career, she exemplified compassion and professionalism, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and the communities she served.
Patricia was a long-time member of Cicero United Methodist Church, where she found joy in her faith and a sense of belonging within the congregation. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by her family, creating memories that would last a lifetime. She embraced her role as a devoted mother and wife for 35 years, and her children—Christopher (Erika Vincent) Guiles, Kelly (Francis) Giarrusso, Jason (Becky) Guiles, and Sara (Erik Bianca) Guiles.
As a grandmother, Patricia cherished her time with Loren, Ben, Marin, George, Colden, and Mia, often expressing how her grandchildren brought immense happiness to her life. Her artistic talents shone through in her love for watercolor painting, allowing her to express herself creatively.
Patricia's family was deeply important to her, and she is survived by her mother, Florence Wooley; siblings, Janet (Dominick), Rita (Marvin), and Joanne (Kurtis); brother-in-law, Toby Guiles; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She now rejoins her beloved husband, Gary Guiles; her father, Girard Wooley; her sister, Fran Dennis; and her parents-in-law, Robert and Nila Guiles, who together have formed a loving circle of support.
Patricia leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and cherished memories. She will forever be remembered as a gentle spirit who brought light to the lives of all who knew her.
