Patricia M. Ostrander

Patricia M. Ostrander, gracefully transitioned from this life on January 12, 2026, at the Onondaga Center in Minoa, surrounded by her loving family. She was 74 years old. Born in Cortland on February 5, 1951, Patricia was the daughter of the late Edward and Eunice Beebe.

For many years, Patricia dedicated herself to her work at Smith Corona in Cortland, where she made lasting friendships.

Patricia had a huge heart, especially when it came to her love for animals. A devoted animal lover throughout her life, she found great joy and comfort in the company of her dogs, who were not just pets but family members in their own right.

In her leisure time, Patricia relished the simple pleasures of life. She had an undeniable talent for cooking and baking, often creating delightful meals and treats that brought warmth and happiness to those around her. One of her favorite pastimes included puzzling over jigsaw puzzles, an activity that reflected her patient and thoughtful nature.

Patricia's love and compassion extended beyond her immediate family; she embraced everyone in her life with open arms. She is predeceased by her brother, Edward W. Beebe, whose memory remains forever cherished.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Ostrander; her step-son, Terry (Angela) Ostrander; and step-daughter, Trisha (Phil) Space. Patricia’s legacy will continue through her two beloved grandchildren, Alexia Ostrander and Amaree Burton. She is also survived by her two brothers, Barry (Carol) Beebe and Terry (Eileen) Beebe, as well as her sister, Sheila Dellow.

Patricia M. Ostrander's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her kindness, love for animals, and passion for cooking and family have left an indelible mark on the lives she touched. As we bid farewell to a remarkable woman, let us remember her laughter, her gentle soul, and her unwavering love, which will always remain a guiding light for her family and friends.
