Patricia Ann Paulini, 81, passed away on August 1, 2025, at Crouse Hospital from complications after surgery, that she Courageously tried to overcome.
She was born in Syracuse, NY, on August 9, 1943, to Ralph Lyman Leddy and Catherine Patsos Leddy.
She was a graduate of East Syracuse High and CCBI. Pat lived in East Syracuse for 40 years, then in Liverpool, and for the past 25 years in Cicero.
Patricia worked for 33 ½ years at State University Hospital in the purchasing office and the business office. Pat enjoyed life in spite of her affliction of Polio and Post-Polio Syndrome.
She enjoyed traveling to Europe, the Canadian Rockies, the Badlands of South Dakota, Yosemite, the Grand Tetons, and several cruises. Pat loved her flowers, the NY Yankees, the NY Giants, and Syracuse University Sports.
Deep appreciation is extended to the many nurses at Crouse, especially Shanice, Keri, Shantasia, and Shauna of 6 South, and Kelli, Joe, Victor, and Rodolfi of ICU.
She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Suzanne E. Miller.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael James; her nephew, Brian Blair; a cousin, Tom Patsos (Shari), and her best friend, Theresa Holmes of Rome, NY, and Terry, Nancy, Mandy, and Danielle.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 8:30 to 9:30 am, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, with a funeral mass to follow at 10:00 am at St Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse.
