Paul Malker “Mickey” Ammerman, 88, of Cicero, passed away August 20, 2026 after a short illness. Mickey was born in Buffalo, New York on June 28, 1938 to Robert and Eilaine (Kraft). 

Paul served in the US Navy before joining the New York State Police in 1969. He was on the Scuba Diving Team and an Investigator with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Following his retirement after 22 years, he owned and operated Walkabout Limousine Company. He cherished his property on Oneida Lake, where he was always out mowing his trails which he took immense pride in. Most importantly, he would always talk about his son being in the United States Space Force. 

Lastly, if you knew Paul, he was an expert at the “Irish Goodbye”. 

He is survived by his son, Michael Ince; his sister Barbara; and countless nieces and nephews. Mickey was predeceased by his brothers, Bill and Danny.
