Paul M. Shippers

Paul M Shippers, 72, of Cicero passed away on June 18,2026 after a long battle with cancer.

Paul was born August 20,1953 to Adrian and Phyllis Shippers of North Syracuse, NY.

Paul spent 23 years in the US Coast Guard, 8 years as active duty, 15 years as a reservist deploying to the Persian Gulf war with PSU 301.

Aside from his military career he was also a heavy truck mechanic, and a part time small engine mechanic, helping his many neighbors and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, of 48 years, Elizabeth (Orton); daughters, Nikki Siewert, Sara Shippers, Stephanie Shippers; son, Shawn Shippers; grandchildren, Samantha Siewert, Lillianne Shippers, Gabriella Shippers, Jacob Shippers and Sage Hudson; sisters, Sandy Baron and Suzan French; and brother Thomas Shippers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Adrian and Phyllis Shippers.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 4pm - 7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main Street, N Syracuse, NY.
