Pauline C. McGrath, 78, of Cicero, NY, passed peacefully surrounded by family on the evening of January 14. Pauline was born on July 8, 1947 to Samuel Farley and Angie (Assenza) King in Poughkeepsie, New York. It was here she met the love of her life, Michael McGrath Sr., and raised her loving family and two sons, Michael Jr. and Patrick.
She dipped her hands in many different professions, from IBM to diner owner of the Big Tomato to more recently preparing taxes at H&R Block. She was known as a giver by everyone around her, who had an abundance of love for her family, friends, football, the Yankees, and the casino.
She is predeceased by her father Samuel, mother Angie, sister Mary Ward, husband Michael Sr., and son Patrick. She is survived by her son Michael Jr. (Maura); grandchildren Joseph, Molly, and Meghan; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who became family.
Services will take place at a later date in Poughkeepsie.
