Paulita Dorine Fagan was born June 21st, 1960 and entered her heavenly rest on May 25th, 2026.
Paulita was born and raised in Boston, MA. She was a lifetime member of Grant A.M.E. Church in Boston where she served in the Nurse’ ministry.
Paulita attended Roxbury Community College, Boston University School of Nursing where four months before graduating utilized her skills delivering a 6-pound 2-ounce baby girl in a hallway of an apartment building in Brookline, MA, as highlighted on the front page of a Boston newspaper in 1988.
Paulita graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with high honors from the Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. She also obtained her certification as a Registered Professional Nurse with the University of New York. Paulita served her life's purpose of over 35 years in nursing as a PRN, BSN, most recently serving as a Nursing Supervisor at Loretto Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Syracuse, NY.
She was recently predeceased by the love of her life of 40 years; Charles J. Hunter, beloved Aunt Ella M. Grimes, Uncle James Fagan, Cousins; Deborah Thomas and Otis Times all of Syracuse, N.Y.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Doris McFarland of Syracuse, NY; her god sister Stephanie of New Jersey, twin goddaughters. Zorah and Aminah Bynoe, as well as triplets; Rolando, Courtney and Christna Lima of Boston, MA. Also to embrace her memory. Lifetime friend Anthony Williams. her dear family and friends from Boston, MA. Karen Penn, Tina, TiElla, Shauna Auguste. Friends, Cheryl, Jerry, Mary, Mark and Nancy. A host of family members through out the states of New York, Massachusetts, Georgia, Arkansas, California, and London, England.
A memorial celebration will be held on Friday June 19, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY In keeping with her wishes, there will be no viewing of Paulita.
