Peter E. Carr

Peter E. Carr, 61, passed away on August 3, 2026.

Originally from Syracuse, New York, Peter spent many years living in Watertown. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, his affection for cats, and his remarkable ability to make those around him laugh. His sense of humor, kind heart, and appreciation for life's simple moments left lasting memories with everyone who knew him.

Peter's greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his seven sons: Pete, Christopher S., Cody S., Daniel W., David W., Bud M., and Peter C.; and his four daughters: Nettie-Jo W., Arisa D., Alisa D., and Callie C. He also leaves behind many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will cherish his memory.

Though Peter is no longer with us, the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A memorial service to celebrate Peter's life will be held on Thursday, August 13th 1-4pm at 631 West Belden Avenue, Syracuse, New York. Family and friends are welcome to gather to honor his memory and celebrate the life he lived.

Pete will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
