Peter J. Ciciarelli

In loving memory of Peter J. Ciciarelli, “Pistol Pete” who passed away on November 3, 2026, after a courageous battle with liver cancer. Born on May 3, 1956, in Syracuse, NY, Peter lived a life full of laughter, love, and passion, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Peter, affectionately known as Pete, was the beloved husband of Christina Kline Ciciarelli, with whom he shared 50 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a family filled with love and warmth, raising two sons, Jay and Jake Ciciarelli, who were his pride and joy. He was also the cherished grandfather to Stella and Vaida, who brought immense happiness to his life. Peter is survived by his mother-in-law, Theresa Kline, and was predeceased by his loving parents, Peter P. Ciciarelli and Dale C. Booth

A graduate of Christian Brothers Academy and Onondaga Community College, Pete dedicated over 35 years to his work at Trane HVAC and Postler & Jaeckle HVAC, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients.

His passion for classic cars was evident through his active involvement with the Central NY MOPAR club, where he served as both president and vice president. Pete's love for classic cars, drag racing, and car shows was only rivaled by his enthusiasm for BLUES and classic rock music, good food and BBQ’s, campfires, boating, and spending time with friends in his garage, often working on his beloved cars. Pete also loved New Smyrna Beach, Florida where the family took many vacations.

Pete's infectious smile, sense of humor, and kind heart made him a cherished friend to many. He reveled in the simple joys of life, from watching Star Trek and old movies to sharing food and laughter with those he loved. Many great parties where had at the Ciciarelli”s, including the famous burn outs in the driveway.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026 from 1pm-3pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, NY 13212. Funeral Services will follow at 3pm

A celebration of life will be held in June of 2027.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) in honor of Pete's love for dogs.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice for their compassionate support and to friends and family for their continuous love and encouragement during this difficult time. Pete's legacy of love and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
