Peter G. Peyer

Peter G. Peyer, 85, of Liverpool, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 surrounded by family. Peter was born in Syracuse on October 6, 1940 son of the late Robert and Jane (Kernan) Peyer. Peter retired from Hiawatha Kitchen Distributors in Syracuse. Peter felt that his greatest accomplishment was his children and grandchildren. He spent countless hours with his family,which included trips to Iowa to visit family and watching his grandchildren any chance he got. He was an athlete, playing baseball for many years and in school played basketball for St. Patrick's in the Parochial League. He was also an avid sports fan particularly the Cleveland Guardians and SU Basketball.

Peter was predeceased by his wife Lois and by his son, Bob Peyer.

He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Peyer (Lu-Anne Squires), daughter-in-law, Carol Peyer, his siblings, John (Lee) Peyer, Judy (Jim) Togni, Tom (Mary) Peyer, 3 grandchildren, Jordan, Jenna, Ashley, 3 great grandchildren, Violet Jane, Lyra, Freya, along with in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
