Philip Ryan, 69, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday with family at his side. He retired from the Onon. Co. Sheriff's Dept. as a Sgt. with 32 years of service. He was a past member of the Lakeside Fire Dept.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Prell) Ryan; a son, Shawn (Kristin) Ryan; a grand daughter, Julia Joy Ryan; two brothers, Neil and David Ryan; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday, 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Peace Church (Lakeland). Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
