Phineas L. Stevens Jr.

Phineas L Stevens Jr., 95, of Elbridge NY, was called home to be with his wife and the Lord, after a brief illness. Born in Richland, NY, he met the love of his life, Bernice, while in the Army in North Carolina. They married and raised a large family in Brewerton, NY where they resided for many years.

He is predeceased by his devoted wife of 67 years, Bernice, and sons, Phineas & Rickey.

Phineas is survived by his children, Helen of Elbridge, NY, David (Cindy) of Cato, NY, Carrie of Elbridge, NY, Raymond (Brenda) of Brewerton, NY, Richard (Marie) of Red Springs, NC, Ronald of Elbridge, NY, Francine (Clay) of CT and Scott (Lauren) of East Syracuse, NY. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and loving family members that will miss him dearly.

Calling hours will be held Friday, January 30, 2026 from 4-7pm with a service immediately following at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main Street., N.Syracuse.

The family would like to thank the medical staff at the VA hospital, Upstate Hospital and HCR homecare for the excellent care he was provided.
