Ralph E. Mizener

Ralph Eugene Mizener passed away on March 9, 2026 at his home in Brewerton. He was born on September 15,1934 in Cortland, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Mildred (Van Name) Mizener and his wife Emma.

He is survived by brothers Harold and David Mizener; 5 children: Debra (John) Hratko of Mesa, AZ; Dale (Cindy) Mizener of Mason, OH; Melissa (Jeff) Rodford of Brewerton, NY; Michael Mizener of Brewerton, NY; Patrick (Yvonne) Mizener of Athens, PA; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Ralph was a graduate of North Syracuse High School (1952). He served in the Army (1954-1956) and was stationed in Germany as a radioman. He worked for NY Telephone as a lineman for over 20 years before starting his own business, Red’s Radio and TV Repair. He served in the Brewerton Volunteer Fire Department starting in 1973 as a fireman, EMT and on the Underwater Search and Rescue Team. He was also involved in Scouting for many years.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 5 - 8 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N Main St. North Syracuse, A sharing of memories will follow.
