Raymond Filapello

Raymond Filapello, 76, of Clay, passed away July 8, 2025. Raymond was born in Syracuse, New York on January 4, 1949 to the late Raymond and Lois Filapello. 

He graduated in 1966 from Baldwinsville High School. He retired from PPG after 29 years and then retired from USPS after 14 years. He was predeceased by his son, Daniel Filapello. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Filapello; son, Stephen (Sarah) Filapello; two step-daughters, Tammy (Jesse) Seymour, Christel (Jonathan) Bitz-Kell; two step-sons, Matthew (Karen) Bitz, Ryan (Sarah) Bitz;14 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. 

The family would like to thank the VA Hospice Team for their care. Memorial contributions may be made to the VA or Hospice.
