Raymond Anthony Lardeo, age 54, passed away suddenly on November 29th, 2023. He was born in Syracuse, NY to Sylvia Gray. He has three biological children and one child that he raised as his own from the age of three.
Raymond served in the Navy reserves as a SEABEES. He joined the reserves right out of high school at the age of 17 and served for eight years from 1987 until 1995. Raymond was a hard worker. He was always striving to provide for his family and lend a helping hand to those around him. He loved sports; everyone knew Raymond's team was the Steelers. One of Raymond's distinguishing characteristics was his unwavering perseverance, which he impressed upon his children.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Gray; uncle, Raymond, Michael Gray and Margret Hill.
Survived by Jennifer Lardeo, their son, Brian Pernice and daughter, Crystal Lulack; fiance, Bobby Joe Herzog and their daughter, Leia Lardeo and son Gianni Lardeo; aunt, Joyce Carter; older brother, Jimmy Lardeo (Jessica) and their children, Kaitlyn and Joey; younger brother, Micheal Wood (Patty) and their children Mikey, James, and Joey; stepchildren, Maryann, Jeremy, Kyndria, Andrew, and Caleb; grandchildren, Ella and Suzie. Raymond is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, biological and just by choice.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 6th at 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 7th at 11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with burial to follow in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
