Rena Ida Stewart

Rena I. Stewart, 88, of Syracuse, passed away July 29, 2025. Rena was born in Niagara Falls, New York on January 27, 1937 to Victor and Linda (Pol) Nichele. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, her dog Fritz, knitting, sewing, cooking, baking, enjoyed spending time with family and was an avid NY Rangers hockey fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Stewart; father, Victor Nichele; mother, Linda (Pol) Nichele and brother, Gildo Nichele.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Stewart of Syracuse and James Stewart of Chapel Hill, NC.

Funeral services will be private.
