Richard C. Heid

Richard C. Heid of Baldwinsville, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Richard retired from McLane NE in Baldwinsville, after 34 years of employment. He was a devoted father, brother, grandfather and friend. He loved driving tractor trailers, the Yankees, racing, building and restoring classic cars with his son and brother.

Richard is survived by his brother, Michael Heid of Syracuse; his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Kara Heid of Baldwinsville; his granddaughters, Jennifer and Hannah; and his buddy and great-grandson, Greyson. He is also survived by his furry best friends, Stark and Boo.

Richard was predeceased by his father and mother, Bud and Betty Heid of Syracuse; and his sister, Anna VanAllen (Heid) of Syracuse.

Per Richard's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
