Richard P. Mann of Liverpool died peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 6:10 am.
Richard Philip Mann was born Oct. 2, 1942, in Geneva, NY, and lived most of his life in Liverpool, NY.
Richard was a member of the Westvale and, later, the Baldwinsville SDA churches. He retired from Onondaga Parks and Rec, having worked for nearly all his life at Griffin Field, which is now better known as Onondaga Lake Park. He enjoyed sports, family, and talking about God and his faith with others, even starting a Bible study in his nursing home.
Richard is predeceased by his parents, Inez and Philip Mann, and by his brother, Edward I. Mann.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Diana; her son, Jason; and his daughter, Tracy (Mann) Funnell, her husband, Doug Funnell, and their son, Richard's grandson, Noah B. Funnell.
He's also survived by ten (10) siblings: William B. Mann & wife Deborah, Howard A. Mann & wife Barbara, Barbara J. Wilbur, Kathleen M. Mann, Marjorie E. Stratton, Susan V. Ninyo & husband Avram, David L. Mann, Joel A. Mann & wife Donna, Mark T. Mann & wife Caprice, and John P. Mann & wife Evelyn. He is also survived by all of their children and grandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
