Richard Walter LaPoint, 72, of Hastings passed away Thursday. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he worked at Crouse Hinds for 29 years. Richard was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years; Eudora (Lamica) LaPoint, son; Kevin (Sue) LaPoint, daughter; Glenda (Frank) Montanaro, brother; Robert LaPoint, sister; Dorothy Johnson and his grandchildren; Frankie (Kate) Montanaro, Greg, Kyle and Brian LaPoint.
Services will be Wednesday at 12 PM at St. Michael's Church, Main St., Central Square. Spring burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 10am -12pm, before the service, at the church.
