Robert F. Doyle, 87, fondly known as, Patch, of Brewerton, passed away June 23, 2018.
Robert was born in Syracuse, NY on February 20, 1931.
A U.S. Marine veteran, he also was a semi-professional baseball player for Niagara Falls. Bob was a second-generation auto body shop owner, which he has passed down to his son, Mike and grandson, Derek. He was also an avid golfer and hunter. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at Buckhill Sportsmen's Club.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beverly Doyle.
He is survived by his children, Michael (Kris Peluso) Doyle, Frederick (Jody) Doyle, Deborah Brown and Matthew Doyle; grandchildren, Dana (Eric) Whipple, Derek (Monica) Doyle, Chelsea (Aaron) Sotherden and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
