Robert W. Harrington

Robert W. Harrington passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on May 25, 2025. Rob was born on August 7, 1954 in Heidelberg, Germany when his father, a physician in the US Army, was assigned to the 130th Station Hospital of the Heidelberg Medical Department. His mother, Marian Eberts Harrington and father, David R. Harrington predeceased Robert. 

Although he was 70 years old, Rob was a young soul and loved to bike ride long distances, go to concerts, and travel. He loved to produce short videos and really enjoyed attending his 50th high school reunion at Batavia High School a few years ago. He made a terrific video of the reunion that he shared with all of his classmates. He never missed one of his niece’s home gymnastics meets at Ithaca College from 2012-2016 and taped all of her meets. Before he retired, Rob worked as a computer tech engineer for Toshiba. 

Robert is survived by his brother, Peter D. Harrington, his sister-in-law, Mary K. Harrington, and nephew, Jeffrey D. Harrington of Fayetteville, NY; niece, Megan C. Washburn, and her husband Christopher Washburn of Dryden, NY. He is also survived by a sister, Jean C. Weinel of Poughkeepsie, NY.
