Robert J. "Bob" Spence, 77, of Manlius, passed away on Friday. Bob retired from Syracuse University. He was involved with the NYS Amateur Trapshooting Association for 50 years; also serving as a director, vice president and secretary treasurer. Bob loved to work with his hands and was a great carpenter. He is predeceased by a son, Mark.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sherry; a son, Dean; two grandchildren and two great grand-children.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street North Syracuse. Services will follow at 7 PM.
