Robert W. Kline

Robert William Kline of Cicero, New York, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Friday, October 9, 2026.

Robert was born in Syracuse, New York, and graduated from Chittenango High School. He was a United States Navy veteran and was honorably discharged from active military service in 1958.

Robert began his career at Denton Refractory Service and later joined O’Brien & Gere Manufacturing in Fayetteville, New York, following a company acquisition. He subsequently worked for Hanyan & Higgins Company until his retirement in 2002.

Robert was very active in his community and was a member of the Scottish Rite, the Masons, the Tigris Shrine, and Jesters 79 of Syracuse. He also served as a board member of the German Society of Central New York, treasurer of the Stein Club and the Moose Club, and was a member of American Legion Post #787.

Robert was predeceased by his wife, Helen, and his sons, Rob, Bill, and Jeff. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Shelley; his two grandchildren, Courtney (David) and Vanessa (Jay); and his great-grandson, Jameson.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Saturday, October 17, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Masonic services will take place at 3:30pm with Prayer Services to follow at 4:00 p.m.
