Robert P. McGraw

Robert P. McGraw, a devoted family man, passed on August 13, 2025, in Syracuse, NY. Born on January 29, 1970, Robert's life was characterized by a caring and thoughtful nature, which he extended to all those around him.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree, laying a strong foundation for his future endeavors. Robert was previously employed for many years by the United States Postal Service.

A man of many interests, Robert had an adventurous spirit that was evident through his hobbies. He participated actively in his college fraternity, TKE, maintaining friendships and connections that remained important throughout his life. His love for travel took him across the globe. An avid hiker, he relished the beauty of nature, conquering all of the mountains in the Adirondacks. Additionally, Robert had a passion for camping and golfing, activities that brought him joy. Most importantly, he cherished the moments spent with his family and friends.

Robert is survived by his wife, Tracy McGraw; his daughter, Evie McGraw; siblings, Faith (Rick) Setzer and Mark (Margaret) McGraw; his uncle, Tommy McGraw; and his dear niece and nephew, Cassie and Eric. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Brenda (Webb) McGraw; and his aunt, Patty Watkins.

Calling hours will be held on August 30, 2025, from 1-3PM, followed by a memorial service at 3PM, all at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to a charity of your choice.

As family and friends gather to celebrate Robert’s life, they will undoubtedly find solace in the impact he had on so many lives. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those he loved.
