Robert G. Overend

Robert G. Overend, 83, of Cleveland, NY passed away August 29, 2025. Robert was born in Syracuse, New York on November 20, 1941 to Joseph and Ruth Overend . Robert retired from Erie Materials, where he had been employed as a delivery driver. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved his dog named Buddy and spending time with family and friends. Robert was US Army veteran. He was a member of the VFW in Mattydale. 

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two sisters, Joan Peak and Delores Reail.

He is survived by his spouse of 42 years, Shirley Overend of Cleveland; two sisters, Ruth E. Overend of Syracuse, Donna (Jeff) Magno of Cicero; six brothers, Joseph Overend, Jr. of Syracuse, William Overend of Florida, Charles (Lorriane) Overend of East Syracuse, John Overend of Florida, Roger (Dora) Overend of Cicero, Donald Overend of Cicero; nephew, Mark (Debbie) Skloda of Solvay; step-daughters Audry Hartzell and Darlene Pugh;step-son Richard Hamelinck.

Funeral services will be private.
