Robert C. Tamez

Robert C. Tamez, 69, of Solvay, passed away November 21, 2025. Robert was born in Wynne, Arkansas on October 30, 1956 to the late Robert and Lydia Tamez.

He was a longtime, long distance, truck driver which he enjoyed very much. He loved his Harley and taking it on long rides, taking care of his lawn, and attending bible study groups. He loved he sharing his testimony with anyone who would listen. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He lived for his wife, Ruth, and her happiness.

He is survived by his wife Ruth Tamez; five sons, Robert J. (Katie) Tamez, Chano Tamez, Bill Rattray, Kim Aaron Forest, Jeremy Forest; two daughters, Anita Tamez, Tammy Shelton; grandchildren, Christianna and Leah Tamez, Leyton, Kylie, and Luca Forest, Kyle, Kelvin, Kaleb, and Konner Shelton; Josh Lacotus; brothers, LeRoy, Joel, Emilio (Pearl) Tamez; and sisters, Cindy Cuervo and Gracy Tamez.

A memorial service will take place Friday, 4PM, at Syracuse Missionary Alliance.
