Robert "Bob" C. Wilburn, Sr

Robert "Bob" C. Wilburn, Sr., 80, of Clay, passed away unexpectedly on Monday November 3, 2025. Bob was born in Syracuse on May 1, 1945, son of the late Carl and Anna Wilburn.

Bob retired from Chrysler after 30 years of service. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his genuine desire to help others. He found joy in giving back to his community through volunteer work, and his kindness touched many lives. A devoted SU fan and lover of classic cars, Bob brought enthusiasm and laughter wherever he went.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years, Barbara. Bob is survived by his son, Robert Wilburn Jr.; two daughters, Stacey (Todd) Jantsch and Mary Wilburn; five grandchildren, Kyle, Christian, Abagail, Victoria, and Cooper; one great-grandson; and his sister, Carol Robinson.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 7, 2025, from 10am to 12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse. A service will follow at 12 pm with burial immediately following at Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
