Roger N. Turtura

Roger N. Turtura, 85, of Kirkville, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the Abraham House in Rome, surrounded by his loving family. Roger was born in Syracuse, on January 18, 1940 son of the late Vincent and Grace Turtura. Roger retired from Carrier Corp. after many years. He enjoyed the outdoors; camping, hunting and fishing. Roger was predeceased by his grandson, Christopher Cameron.

He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Turtura of 40 years, son, Douglas Turtura, daughter, Sharon Cameron, son, Gregory (Stacey) Turtura, six grandchildren, Tiffany (James) Loftus, Vincent Turtura, Nicholas Turtura, Noah Turtura, Delaney Turtura, several great grandchildren and a step-son, Duane Arnold.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 3pm-5pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 11am at the Alive Wesleyan Church, 7691 Bridgeport-Kirkville Rd, Kirkville. Burial will follow at Pine Plains Cemetery, Kirkville.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Abraham House, 417 N. Washington St., Rome, NY 13440.
