Rolland J. "Ron" Beard, 70 of Auburn and formerly of Syracuse, passed away Monday. Born in Auburn, he worked for the Carpenters Local 633.
Ron is survived by 2 sons, Rolland (Amy) Beard and William (Michelle) Carr; a daughter, Lisa Ditch; three brothers, Arthur Jr., Joseph, and David Beard; two sisters, Shirley Jennings and Joan Kirschner; eight grandchildren; good friend, Judy Beard; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Carmen.
Services will be Thursday, 6 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705. N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling Hours will be before services from 4-6 PM, at the funeral home.
