Ronald Edward Kochanowski

Ronald Edward Kochanowski, 82, of Brewerton, N.Y.; a Vietnam Army veteran and purple heart recipient went home to be with his Savior after a courageous battle with cancer on July 12, 2026. Ron was born on June 4, 1944 in Utica, N.Y. to the late Thaddeus and Evelyn (Deering). He worked for Carrier Corporation, the US Postal Service, and Wegman's in Cicero N.Y.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife Elaine of 55 years. He was a proud father of Michael (Trina), Charity (Todd) Loscombe, and Nathan. He treasured his twelve grandchildren, loved his wonderful extended family and was very grateful for his church family and special friends.

He greatly loved leading bible studies, being a ranger in his church archery program, going fishing, and was an avid Yankees fan.

A private burial will be held this coming Friday. A "celebration of life service" will be held on Saturday morning July 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Vintage Faith Church 6836 NY-31 in Cicero, N.Y. followed by a luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vintage Faith Church towards their building fund.

Ron will be greatly missed!
