Roy J. Bates, Jr., 82, of Liverpool, passed away while recovering at Elderwood on Wednesday.
He attended St. James and Immaculate Heart of Mary Churches.
Predeceased by his wife, Loretta (Roffo) Bates and his daughter Linda Piazza.
Roy leaves behind his children, Diana, Jeffrey, and Roy III; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and a sister.
Calling hours will be 4-7pm on Sunday at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Funeral service will be 1PM on Monday, also at the funeral home. Burial at Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of CNY.
