Sally Sorbello, born on December 25, 1946, in the warmth of family joy, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, leaving behind a tapestry of memories woven with love and laughter.

For over 30 years, Sally dedicated herself to her career as a hairdresser, ultimately retiring from J.C. Penney's, where she became a beloved figure among her clients and colleagues alike, known for her caring nature and expert touch. Sally was not just a hairdresser; she was a nurturer at heart.

Her life was filled with moments spent cherishing family and friends, embracing the joy of their company with open arms. She found tranquility in listening to country music and embraced the melodies that spoke to her while enjoying the simple pleasure of dancing. A lover of all things, especially ice cream, Sally often delighted in this sweet treat and shared countless joyful moments with those she loved. Sally’s life was deeply enriched by her family.

She leaves behind her daughter, Jodi Arquitt, and her son, Scott (Cynthia) Sorbello. Sally was a proud grandmother to three grandsons, Joseph (Katie) Sorbello, Jonathan (Cassi) Sorbello, and Fred (Krista) Montgomery, and two granddaughters, Jessica (Samantha) Spagnola and Alexis Sorbello. Her heart soared with the arrival of her two great-granddaughters, Jaydin Rae and Clara Rose, who brought boundless joy into her life. Sister, Patricia (Raymond) Burr. In reflecting upon her legacy, we remember her depth of kindness, her wonderment at the world around her, and the warmth she exuded in every interaction.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael J. Sorbello, who stood by her side through life’s journey. She was also predeceased by her dear parents, Harvey and Lena Taylor, her brother, Herbie Taylor, and her beloved daughter, Michele Jo Sorbello.
