Sandra S. Bishop, born on April 11, 1954, passed away on August 10, 2026. Her life was defined by devotion to her family, the strength of her character, and her unwavering kindness. Sandra’s memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The heart of Sandra’s world was her family. She is deeply mourned by her beloved son, Anthony Shane Bishop; her daughters, Audra J. Degilormo and Juanita G. Wright; her grandchildren, DeSean Morrisette, Corrin Bishop, Amari Rose Degilormo, and Shaylynn Angela Bishop; and her great-grandson, Sammy. Sandra’s siblings, Patricia Vidal and William Bishop, as well as her brother-in-law, Kinsey Vidal, continue to hold her spirit close. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will dearly miss their aunt’s caring presence.
Sandra’s family ties span both love and loss. She was preceded in death by her dear mother, Mary E. Bishop; her cherished son, Lonnie G. Bishop; and her brother, Steven Bishop. Their memories are now entwined with Sandra’s legacy of compassion, perseverance, and generosity.
Throughout her life, Sandra touched the lives of many with her warmth and integrity. Her impact is felt not only within her immediate family but also among her extended family and all who knew her. Whether she was offering wise guidance, a supportive hand, or sharing laughter among loved ones, Sandra’s presence brought comfort and light.
As the family gathers to grieve her loss and celebrate her life, they do so with gratitude for the time they shared, and the bonds formed and deepened through Sandra’s loving example. She will be remembered for her nurturing spirit and her steadfast and selfless care for those around her.
Sandra S. Bishop’s passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, but her memory will live on, cherished in stories, traditions, and the lives of her children, grandchildren, great-grandson, siblings, and extended family. The family invites all who knew Sandra to remember her with affection and honor the meaningful legacy she leaves behind.
