Sandra J. Romer, 80, of East Syracuse, passed away June 8, 2024. Sandra was born in Syracuse, New York on March 30, 1944 to Milton and Mabel Paul. She was a homemaker and helped to raise the neighborhood kids. Sandra was a carnival worker, enjoyed traveling with Wheelock Rides and making wooden toys for Romers Toys and Wood products. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and friends. Sandra was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Donald A. Romer, Sr. and Albert Rising; son, Donald A. Romer, Jr.; daughter, Tamara Scott; parents, Milton and Mabel Paul; and younger brother, Milton "Butch" Paul Jr.

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Tina Romer, Colette Laird, and Amanda Maslak; son, David (Martha) Romer; grandchildren, Laycee Romer, Chelsie Romer, Max Seirson, Michaela Laird, Kenneth Romer, Cameron Romer, Keith Romer, Courtney Romer, David E. Romer, Jeremy Romer, Steven Scott, Jr., Brittany Scott and Marissa Scott; great grandchildren, Alexander Sierson, Zoey Sierson, Jacob Romer, Leo E. Romer, Dylan Munroe, Christopher Romer, Tamara EJ Romer, Christian Van Allen, Skylar Van Allen, and twins due August 2024 to Chelsie R. and Thiel Valdes; sisters, Sharon Raum, Carolyn Walker and Marilyn (Annie) Bohn; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In keeping with Sandra's wishes there will be no services at this time. Memorial contributions may be made in Sandra's memory to the Vietnam Veterans of America, honoring those in her life who have served our country and the countless contributions she has made to continue the care of our veterans across the United States.
