Sharon J. Schneible

Sharon J. Schneible, born on January 22, 1957, in Syracuse daughter of the late Ronald and Beatrice Coir. She passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, at Crouse Hospital, surrounded by friends and family. Her serene presence and gentle nature touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy marked by kindness, humility, and unwavering compassion.

Throughout her career, Sharon dedicated nine fulfilling years to Nascentia, where she worked as a health aid. She found great joy and purpose in her role, demonstrating a genuine commitment to caring for others. Her colleagues and those she cared for remember her as a calm, respectful, and honest individual whose compassionate spirit was evident in every interaction.

Sharon’s passions extended beyond her professional life. She was an avid enthusiast of the outdoors, finding solace and adventure in camping, kayaking, and fishing with her husband. These activities brought her closer to nature and provided cherished moments of peace and reflection. Equally important to Sharon was her love of music. She treasured the times spent playing and recording music alongside her husband, Karl creating memories that will forever resonate with those who had the privilege to share in her musical gifts.

Family was central to Sharon’s life. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Karl Schneible, with whom she shared a deep bond both personally and through their shared music. She also leaves behind her son, Jason Tinsley, and her treasured twin granddaughters, Madelyn and Haleigh Tinsley. Sharon’s family circle extends to her three brothers, Raymond Coir, Richard Coir, and Ronald Coir, along with many cousins who remember her as a humble and respectful soul who cherished her connections deeply.

A visitation to honor Sharon’s life will be held on Wednesday June 24, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212. This gathering will offer an opportunity for friends and loved ones to pay their respects and celebrate a life well-lived. A  graveside service will take place at Onondaga Valley Cemetery on Thursday June 25, 2026 at 1pm.

Sharon J. Schneible’s quiet strength, honesty, and compassionate heart leave an enduring imprint on all who knew her. She will be remembered fondly as a woman of profound humility and grace, whose calm demeanor brought comfort and warmth to her family, friends, and community.
