With great sadness, our family announces that on November 11, 2025, Sheryl Ann Perlas, age 67, left her temporary home here on earth.
Sheryl was born Sheryl Ann Boyle on May 12, 1958, to Carlton and Dorothy Boyle in Syracuse, New York. Sheryl was their fourth child.
From a young age, Sheryl enjoyed the outdoors, especially the time spent at her Aunt Bernice's camp in Dexter, NY, alongside her seven siblings. This camp nurtured Sheryl's heart with love of family, crazy fun in the sun, and water shenanigans.
In Sheryl's later years, she learned to be adventurous in travel and the unknown. Sheryl's "free spirit “allowed her to live a life with no fear of the next adventure that stood behind the closed door in front of her.
As Sheryl and her siblings grew older, Sheryl was always ready to give her brothers a little taste of what they dished out to her in her younger years. Always with a sparkle in her eyes and a laugh followed by a smile on her face. We were witnesses to the love of siblings who had each other's backs no matter what. Love at work constantly, unconditionally, and for a lifetime.
Sheryl is survived by her loving, dedicated husband of 47 years, Angelo (Angie) Perlas. Her children Jennie Ferguson, Sandy Higgins, Jimmy Sobey, Johnny Sobey, and five grandchildren. sisters, Patricia (Carl Farino and Bunny Gasko. brothers, Richard (Carol Boyle, Walter (Heather) Boyle, and Timothy (Laurie) Boyle. sister-in-law, Stacey Boyle; sister- and brother-in-law, Bobby and Chrissy Perlas; as well as many nieces and nephews, and her many fur babies.
