Shirley Ann Parker, a beloved matriarch whose vibrant spirit enriched the lives of all who knew her, passed away on November 15, 2025, in North Syracuse, NY. Born on September 25, 1929, in Syracuse, NY, Shirley was known for her spunky personality, sharp wit, and outspoken nature. Her humor and charm were a constant source of joy, always delivered with an authentic smile and a big heart.
Shirley’s greatest pride lay in her family, to whom she devoted her life. She is survived by her son, Michael Brady of Fulton, NY; her daughter, Kathleen (John) Richards of Fulton, NY; four cherished grandchildren, Andrew Paetow, Michael Paetow, Derek Brady, and Laurie Brady; along with six great-grandchildren, Emma, Mary, Zacheriah, Amelia, Natalie, and Raya.
She was predeceased by her two sons, Don Paetow and Patrick Brady, and her parents, Louis and Marie Paetow.
Throughout her life, Shirley was always there for those in need, embodying a spirit of kindness and compassion that touched countless lives. Her legacy, marked by her unwavering love and infectious laughter, will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.
In keeping with Shirley's wishes, there will be no services. Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, an organization she held close to her heart.
