Stacey Elizabeth Desocio

Stacey Elizabeth DeSocio, 64, was called home by God on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 after a long courageous battle with breast cancer.

She was born on March 15, 1960 to Robert and Joan Conine in Syracuse, NY. After she graduated from Henninger High School in 1978, she went on to serve over 35 years working for the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities. She also spent over 15 years serving in Family Care, where she provided love and care for Stanley. She was married to her loving husband, Davey DeSocio for 35 years. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Daniel’s Church.

Her hobbies included spending time with her family and friends especially her Grandchildren, anything paranormal, collecting fairies and owls, the Wizard of Oz, gardening, antiquing, and caring for others.

Stacey is predeceased by her father, Robert Conine and Stanley Gutowski (like a son).

She is survived by her loving husband, Davey DeSocio and her mother, Joan Conine; children, David DeSocio and Rosemary DeSocio; brothers and sisters, Rick (Patty) Conine, Robin (Chris) Cannata, Heather Conine Jones, Vanessa Conine, and Rachel (Mike) Sullivan; grandchildren, Salem and Cameron and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and puppy JJ.

The family would like to thank Hematology Oncology Associates and St. Joseph’s Oncology for their care and support.

A Calling hour will be held at St. Daniel’s Church, Syracuse, NY on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Daniel’s Church.
