Stephen D. McKown, 55, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday. Stephen worked for CSX Railway, retiring with 32 years of service. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen. Stephen enjoyed flying, sailing and golfing.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha; son, Capt. Jason R. (Rachel) McKown, USMC; daughter, Jamie L. McKown; brother, Curtis McKown; sisters, Cindy Rider and Deb McKown; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, 4PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St. Calling hours will be Saturday from 1-4 PM, at the funeral home, before services.
