Stephen L. "Stevie" Diroma

Stephen L. “Stevie” DiRoma, 66, of Syracuse, passed away July 1, 2024. Stephen was born in Syracuse, New York on September 27, 1957 to Frank and Marie DiRoma.

Stevie graduated from Henninger High School, class of '75. He worked for Carrier Corp., and various other jobs before he retired from BR Johnson. He was an avid sports fan and played softball in his early years. Later he turned to golf and bowling. In his free time, he enjoyed hanging out with his friends who were like his second family, many of whom he grew up with from elementary school and stayed close to. Stevie was the favorite uncle and he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by Father, Frank D. DiRoma; and Nephew, Lcpl. Michael DiRoma.

Stevie is survived by his Mother, Marie S. DiRoma; Three Brothers, David F. (Deborah) DiRoma, Frank (Sherri Riley) DiRoma Jr., Michael (Ruth) Lenweaver; Two Nieces, Cheryl DiRoma, Julie DiRoma; Two Nephews, Thomas (Emily) DiRoma, James (Amanda) Lenweaver; Grandniece, Eleanor Lenweaver; and all his Friends.

Family and friends may call on July 16, 2024, from 3:00pm – 5:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Humane CNY or Make-a-Wish of Central New York .
