With profound love and sadness, we announce the passing of Sterling “Skip” Bradford, who peacefully departed this life on July 13,2026 at the age of 75. Born on December 26,1950 in Bessemer Alabama, Skip lived a life defined by love, strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication to family. Whether through a warm smile, words of encouragement, or a small tune, he left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Skip was a proud husband, father, grandfather “papu” “popper” “pops”, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He found joy in fishing, singing, working at Syracuse University (SU) JMA Dome, watching SU sports and spending time with family. His greatest pride was the love he shared with those closest to him.

He is lovingly survived by his Wife Donna Bradford, Children Sterling, Zarrieff, Latonia (Joe), Danielle, Shaina (Kevin), Shantia (Antonio) and Corey. His 2 bonus kids Fatima (Donte) and Tyjon who were raised as his son. His 22 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren his sister Shirley Dawson and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents, 1 brother, and 2 sisters.

Although our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing that Skip's legacy of love, faith, compassion, and resilience will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Skip’s life will be held on a future date at Abundant Life Christian Center. Family will send out details.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, celebrate a life well lived, and honor the beautiful memories that will forever remain in our hearts.
