Sue Garnsey

Sue Garnsey, age 81, of Clay, NY, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025. 

Sue will be remembered for her love of knitting, spending summers at camp with Pete, playing with her grand puppy, Kona, her smile and sense of humor, her love of family, and her love of Tootsie Pops! She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martyn and Faunta Garnsey; her sister, Sally; and her brother, Richard.

She is survived by her loving husband, Peter Marra; her son, David Squairs (Emily); and her grandson, Caeleb Fox-Lee (Jude).

In accordance with Sue’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. She will be laid to rest in Brookside Cemetery, Watertown, NY in the spring.
