Susan M. Fralick

Susan M. Fralick, born on December 11, 1936, in Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, in her hometown, Syracuse, NY. She lived a life marked by her warm presence and unwavering kindness, serving as a daycare provider for over 30 years.

Susan was a nurturing spirit who was always willing to put others before herself. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored and spoiled endlessly. Susan was known for giving the best hugs and being a constant source of support and encouragement to those around her.

In addition to her role as a true matriarch, Susan loved to dance and enjoyed listening to country music.

Susan is survived by her children, Richard (Mary) Fralick and Kim (David) Schaefer; grandchildren, Heather (Jeremy) Fralick, Allison Fralick, Michael (Stephanie) Tortorelli, and Brian (Veronica) Tortorelli; great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Fralick and Lennon, Stella, and August Tortorelli; and her pets, Leo and Colby.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Fralick Sr.; parents, Frank and Lillian Simons; and her brother, James "Jimmy" Simons.

Services will be held privately for the immediate family.

Susan M. Fralick will be remembered for her dedication to family and friends and her lifelong commitment to caring for others. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue through those she leaves behind.
