Susan J. McCarthy

Susan J. McCarthy, 76 of Syracuse, NY, passed away on August 23, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 29, 1948 in Syracuse, NY to the late George and Lora McCarthy. She loved animals and spending time with her family and friends. She had a “heart of gold” and would do anything for anybody. She is survived by her sisters, Mary (Bill) Burlingame, Barbara Drew, Lori Delles; brothers, John McCarthy and Daniel (Phillis) McCarthy; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Rose McCarthy and a special friend, Deborah Smith. Predeceased by her brothers, David McCarthy, Richard McCarthy and her sister, Helen Jones. Always tell the ones you love, how special they are. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to any animal rescue of one’s choice.
