Susan D. Scott

Susan D. Scott, 73, of Syracuse, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24th with her children by her side. 

Susan was born in Syracuse, NY on September 22, 1952, daughter of the late Allen and Virginia Gilbert. A lifelong Syracuse resident, Susan retired from Upstate Child Care Center. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chip" Scott, her parents, and her 2 sisters Cheryl Gilchrist and Deborah Gilbert.

She is survived by her loving children, Debbie (Brian), Danny, Derek (Connie), Douglas (Laura), and Deanna, brother Allen (Regina) Gilbert, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. There will be no services.

The family would like to thank Candace and the staff at Van Duyn for their exceptional care.
