Sylvia C. Pratt

Sylvia C. Pratt, 91, of North Syracuse, passed away September 4, 2025. Sylvia was born in Ogdensburg, New York on May 7, 1934 to Henry and Alberta Cardinal. Sylvia was a graduate of St. Lucy's Academy in Syracuse, Lemoyne College and Syracuse University. Sylvia retired from GE/Lockheed Martin. In free time, she enjoyed camping, traveling, attending the theatre and volunteered for the Onondaga County Mental Health Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Calvin Pratt; her father, Henry Cardinal; mother, Alberta Cardinal; ; two sisters, Marie Mahady and Diane Cushman; two brothers, David Cardinal and Russell Cardinal, daughter-in-law MaryAnn Pratt.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas Pratt and Michael (Pamela) Pratt; daughter, Laurianna (Robert) Shiroki; two sisters, Patricia (Ed) Ganley and Nancy (Robert) Dixon; Grandson, Jake Shiroki and Granddaughter, Jill Shiroki; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals - North Syracuse, 705 N. Main St, Syracuse. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 10:00 am at Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the  Alzheimer Association of CNY
